Smart cities e edifici intelligenti : un’ipotesi progettuale.

Abstract:

L’elaborato seguente si propone di analizzare alcune tematiche molto attuali che, soprattutto negli ultimi vent’anni hanno mobilitato le Pubbliche Amministrazioni e i cittadini verso obiettivi più sostenibili.

La tesi presenta in prima battuta un’analisi sul concetto di “Smart City” riportando alcune definizioni e cercandone le tematiche comuni. Un’attenta analisi sulle misure adottate dall’Unione Europea e da alcune città, che da parecchi anni perseguono l’obiettivo di diventare più “smart” attraverso l’adozione delle tecnologie ICT (Information and Communication Technology) e la definizione di progetti negli ambiti urbani più critici, permetterà di capire come il concetto viene oggi compreso ed adottato dalla società e dalle pubbliche amministrazioni, analizzandone le strategie e i possibili sviluppi futuri.

In seconda battuta l’elaborato si sofferma su un altro concetto fondamentale nella società odierna ovvero gli edifici intelligenti proponendo un’analisi dettagliata sulla storia e sul loro funzionamento, cercando infine di capire quali siano le principali barriere e ostacoli che ne impediscono una più ampia adozione ed accettazione da parte degli utenti e degli operatori.

Successivamente, attraverso l’analisi di differenti tipologie di “Smart Buildings” a livello internazionale, è stato quindi possibile capire quali sono le tecnologie intelligenti più utilizzate, in quale settore vengono maggiormente adottate e quali sono i vantaggi derivanti dalla creazione di edifici adattivi.

Dall’analisi concettuale, delle politiche europee e dei casi studio, la tesi prosegue proponendo due ipotesi progettuali.

I progetti proposti, sviluppati nel Comune di Neive, in provincia di Cuneo, in una zona residenziale di espansione, cercano di applicare e riproporre, all’interno di un’abitazione unifamiliare, alcune delle tecnologie studiate.

L’obiettivo finale è quello di creare un prototipo di edificio: intelligente, sostenibile, adattabile, integrato con il contesto e facilmente riproducibile.
