Abstract:

With the rapid development of China's economy, foreign trade and foreign investment have been taken to great achievements. As in 2000 the Chinese government Chinese actively encourage enterprises "going out", and its positioning as a national strategy, China's foreign investment in recent years has entered a period of gold. According to statistics, 2015 annual our country's outward FDI flow of 73.508 million yuan RMB, an increase rate of 14.7%, by the end of the year, China's outward FDI stock accumulated up to 5.4 trillion yuan, which is sufficient to prove that, in our country both from the investment flow or investment stock has been entered the ranks of big country of foreign investment among. In contrast, the European Union and China is the EU's second largest trading partner, very close economic exchanges between China and EU development, but due to the 2008 financial crisis and the European debt crisis to the EU's economic development has brought hit, once malaise, so the current EU need absorb foreign capital to boost the economy and solid economic recovery and relieve the EU internal social and economic contradictions. But the flow and stock of China's FDI is still low compared with the volume of trade between the EU and China, so China still has a huge space for development of EU FDI. Therefore, it is of great significance to study how to further cooperation on investment and put forward effective proposals. This paper mainly consists of five parts. The first part is the theory review, summarizes the concept of FDI and the discussion shows that China to the European Union FDI development foundation. The second part is obtained through the analysis on the motivation to china’s investment in Europe. The third part mainly analyzes the development course, current situation and characteristics of China's direct investment in the EU, especially from the country distribution, industry layout and investment main body. the fourth part is overall analysis our country to the EU's direct investment in the current and future to meet the opportunities and challenges in both sides. The fifth part focus on proposed expansion of China to the EU direct investment capital countermeasures and suggestions from the government and enterprise two aspects.
