Abstract
The digitalization of calibration processes represents a critical challenge for modern industries and IoT ecosystems. Sensors deployed across heterogeneous networks require standardized calibration procedures to ensure metrological traceability, regulatory compliance, and long-term reliability. Proposed in 2017, the Digital Calibration Certificate (DCC) is the international reference standard adopted by metrology institutes and accreditation bodies for digital documents. It consists of a machine-readable XML file defined by the National Metrology Institute of Germany PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) and made available via the GEMIMEG framework. This thesis describes a complete digital calibration workflow that is based on a platform developed by the DET measurement research group, hereafter referred as Measurestream, specifically conceived for the autonomous management of wireless sensors.
The implemented system performs the automatic collection of calibration measurements from heterogeneous sources, it ingests multiple asynchronous calibration messages, one for each measurement point, which are joined and converted into an intermediate format
