Abstract:

The LuNaDrone is a moon-hopper autonomous vehicle designed to explore lunar caves and acquire data to study such natural structures. This work has the goal to propose an optimized layout of actuators for the drone's attitude control system. The thermodynamic behaviour of the system and the positioning of the actuators are objects of study and discussion. This thesis also develops a numerical simulation routine that allows the deep analysis of the system's behaviour as a whole as well as an optimization of the proposed arrangement of actuators.
