DEVELOPING A GENERATIVE DESIGN APPLICATION FOR A SPINDLE DRIVE.

Rel. Sandro Moos. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Mechatronic Engineering (Ingegneria Meccatronica), 2024

Abstract:

The following pages will guide you trough all the steps that brought us to develop an app that can create the best starting point for the final industrial- ization of a component. We started from a simple question: what do we do to develop the part? From here we proceeded with the definition of the requirements and the logical architecture that led us to implement many different functions. The main objective of this thesis is to provide Italdesign a strong and reliable first tool that can design autonomously a part, only recieving in input the geometrical constraints given by the project. For the time and resources that were invested, the constraints definition level has been simplified, cutting out the direct interface implementation between the part in analysis and the surrounding parts.
