Abstract: |
Our work aims to explore the context of home automation systems, in particular from the point of view of the technologies involved and the new induced behaviors and lifestyles. The design process starts from the analysis of the involved company, Domethics, a Piedmont-based company specialising in the development of home automation systems, and moves to through market research, product technology and user research on existing smart products, dig out the actual needs of users. The goal is to design a smart home product both for children and parents. |
