Abstract:

This Thesis will touch upon identifying the Impact of Business Angels investors in Italy and focusing on uncovering the effects of gender diversity in angel group investment behaviours. The first chapter provides the context in which the following research has been developed and outlines the main objectives of this study. The second and third chapters offer respectively an extensive literature review on the subject, with a particular focus on gender diversity issues, and an overview on the research methodology used in this paper. The fourth chapter constitutes the core of this thesis and provides a detailed analysis of gender diversity in angel group investment behaviours. Hence, the data collected through surveys and interviews are organized into 11 categories of findings aiming at confirming, refuting, or uncovering insights into the space of gender impact on Angel Investing. The last chapter is devoted to a summary of the main results and conclusions.
