Rel. Manuela Battipede, Luigi Mascolo. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Aerospaziale, 2022

The purpose of this thesis work is to provide an overview of a real space mission, ExoMars 2022. The ExoMars Programme is pursued as part of a broad cooperation between ESA and Roscosmos and composed by two missions for the 2016 and 2022 launch opportunities to Mars; the first one was an ESA led mission and allowed the placing in orbit of the Trace Gas Orbiter; the second one is devote to develop a complex Spacecraft, to be launched with a Proton M/Breeze-M rocket, consisting of a Descent Module and a Carrier Module, inside of which there are a static Landing Platform and Rover which will be deployed on the Mars surface for exobiology and geology research. The document, beyond this short introduction describes the design characteristics of the ExoMars Mission, Spacecraft Composite and its elements. The last part is dedicated to the description of the activities to be performed during the functional verifications in the frame of the test campaign, in addition to test requirements for the Integrated System Test, to address the test approach, facility, required GSE and test tools necessary for test preparation and execution in anticipation of the launch.
