Increasing the efficiency of district heating networks through heat pumps installation

This thesis work focuses on the analysis of a barycenter belonging to the district heating network in Turin. The objective is to understand whether the network can today, or will be able to in the future, be efficiently supplied with a lower supply temperature than it is today. Heat pumps are essential if one or more users require a higher temperature than the one supplied.
