The purpose of this work is to perform a feasibility study of a mission involving the analysis of the biodiversity of terrestrial areas in collaboration with S.A.B Aerospace of Benevento, using a Cubesat platform and commercial Off-the-Shelf component. The orbit choice, by the mission prerequisites, was evaluated taking into account the performance of the Hyperspectral camera mounted on board and its specifications, so that the satellite would be able to acquire sufficient data during the passage over the areas of interest. Finally, by calculating the data rate generated by the payload and the telemetry and command data, a link budget was evaluated to guarantee correct and efficient communication with the ground stations of LeafSpace network involved.
