Today's companies tend to automate all system, from a single machine to total plant. This thesis concerns the design of an automatic code reader able to identify the code reported on electronic boards in order to understand if it can be tested. This system is inserted inside an automatic line of testing able to test different kind of electronic boards. The thesis is divided in two different parts: - a first part dedicated to design an automatic test bench useful to calibrate cameras or sensors; - a second part, the final design, a module composed by expensive components able to automatically recognize the code on boards. |
