Abstract:

1D/3D Electro-chemical Thermal Modelling of a Lithium-ion battery Under Various Driving Cycles A 1D electrochemical model is coupled with a 3D heat model, to estimate the temperature profiles of an electric vehicle’s battery under different driving cycles. The combined model will be used to study heat generation along with heat dissipation at the battery,and module levels.
