Abstract:

The thesis aims to develop a load emulator for the static test of three-phase inverters via a second inverter connected back to back. The thesis proposes four techniques for emulating a PMSM motor via an inverter and implements them in the Simulink environment, regarding a SPM motor. The results are partly verified on an experimental setup with two 24V DC inverters and the SpeedGoat rapid prototyping platform. The work lays the foundations for implementations on larger inverters and internal magnet motors with non-linear saturation curves.
