Libpull: The Portable Updates Lightweight Library.

Software updates are one of the necessary tools to make sure that Internet of Things devices can be secured against new attacks even after they are deployed in the field. This thesis focuses on developing a library to implement software updates on constrained devices, facing the security and portability challenges of this process. The solutions, called libpull, has been tested with Contiki and the Linux operating system and has been evaluated in terms of memory and energy consumption.
