DMP EVALUATION SERVICE CONTEXT 1.The DMP is relevant in the RDM world because it helps researchers to organize and describe the data for research, also to comply with regulations and funding mandates. 2.How DMP is currently used -> DMP is a requirement for many research funding agencies and institutions for grant approval. 3.How the evaluation process is done now -> Currently the revision of a DMP is done manually, it is done by different actors in the workflow, but the evaluation depends on the experience of the person doing it also the expertise in the field the DMP is approaching. PROBLEM 1.There is no automated method to evaluate a DMP, and there is no feedback provided for any tool on which parts require improvement. 2.Each domain requires a different field and evaluates differently the DMPs.
