| Abstract: |
The thesis examines how motor racing, conceived as staged competitions, catalyzes innovation and technology transfer in the automotive sector. Through a historical and comparative analysis (origins of motorsport, Formula 1, Formula E), it proposes a causal model balancing design freedom with cost sustainability, highlighting the drawbacks of open-ended experimentation, and the potential harm of over-standardization. |
