Abstract: |
The management of the healthcare supply chain has become a crucial element for the effective functioning of the global healthcare system, directly influencing accessibility, quality, and efficiency of healthcare services. In recent years, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, new challenges have emerged, such as global supply disruptions, an increasing demand for critical resources, and the need for more agile and digitalized solutions. The evolution of the healthcare supply chain is shifting towards the adoption of innovative technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and real-time data management, to improve transparency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely and efficient distribution of resources. This document aims to provide an overview of the healthcare supply chain, starting with a selection of articles obtained through the Scopus database, chosen based on their relevance to the research questions. Subsequently, final considerations are presented, supported by the in-depth analysis of each paper included in the corpus. |
