Logistic Agreement - Support Activities for Iveco Logistic Supply Chain & Standardization

IVECO has introduced a comprehensive proposal aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and achieving standardization, driven by the need to reduce rising operational costs. This thesis examines BOSCH’s response to this proposal, focusing on the strategic measures adopted, challenges encountered, and the analytical framework used during an internship at Bosch GmbH in Italy. The study begins with an overview of Bosch’s organizational structure, its evolution in the automotive sector, and a deep dive into the Perbit division in Italy. It then explores the commercial relationship between Bosch and IVECO, providing context for the need for a formal agreement between the two companies. The core of this thesis details the work conducted during the internship, which involved supporting the transition process before and during the agreement’s implementation. Key analytical approaches, including performance monitoring and impact assessment, are discussed to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed changes. Finally, the thesis outlines the progress made during the testing phase and presents a roadmap for future developments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The findings contribute to understanding supply chain optimization in the automotive sector and offer insights into best practices for managing large-scale operational transitions.
