Abstract:

Dynamic Routing in the Physical Internet: From Simulation to Mock The Physical Internet (PI) is an innovative system that aims to revolutionize current paradigms of global logistics. It is founded on the principles of the Digital Internet, such as transparency, resource sharing, and information exchange, with the goal of creating a more efficient and environmentally friendly logistics network. Numerous protocols have been suggested for the routing of PI containers, which are the load units of PI, and these involve interactions with network nodes. As of the current state-of-the-art, routing protocol simulations exhibit two limitations: first, they contain unrealistic components; and second, they are challenging to integrate with other simulations or physical parts. This paper proposes a "multilanes" (next hop) routing simulation, which has been duly adjusted for straightforward interfacing, making it usable as a Mock.
