Abstract:

The following thesis deals with generating an informative model of the plumbing system for an underground railway station. the main objective of the thesis is to find out possible solutions for putting in communication the Building Information Model (BIM) with Building Management Systems (BMS). The paper is divided into different parts that follow the consecutive order of devel-opment of the thesis. Starting from the first part dedicated to knowledge of BIM methodology and general notions. The central part will focus on developing the model and organization of families. The next step is to verify and validate the model in terms of the Clash Detection and finally, the last part will focus on exporting the model from Revit through the Dynamo in a format that will be readable by middleware or platform where it is possible to put in relation the data for further maintenance activities. In conclusion, the thesis work represents a methodological approach for the integration of BIM and BMS.
