Abstract: |
Abstract The purpose of this work of thesis is to show how a photovoltaic renewable energy generation system can make telecommunication towers as self-sufficient as possible with innovative and intelligent solutions. The research process focuses on modelling to ensure environmental sustainability in order to find the best solution for such plants. Production of electricity from photovoltaic panels, in different configurations, was analyzed, in relation to the electrical load of the site. In addition, the option of an energy storage was hypothesized to increase self-sufficiency and relative economic convenience. In fact, a sensitivity analysis was performed to determine the dependence of the key components of the energy economy system and propose the optimal setting of the required conditions. To carry out this work, some software such as Excel and PVsyst were used for the technical study and in general the internet world for data research. Furthermore, a program for the study of renewable sources has been implemented and developed on Excel, such as photovoltaic, wind and hydroelectric power. |
