Remediation experts identify and quantify site’s environmental composition, assess the short- and long-term risks and develop solutions that can minimize cost and liabilities while improving environmental conditions. The aim of this thesis is to develop Excel files used for Plan de Gestion (managements plan). This deliverable explains different technical solutions for remediation. It is necessary to determine the volume of soil treatable and the mass of the contamination to calculate the dimension of the treatment plant. Indeed, quantity of soil and type of contaminant play a key role in the complexity of the treatment, time of treatment and so the cost. Some Excel formula and VBA code are used to save time and avoid data input errors. An algorithm was created to automatically know the volume of soil to excavate because of the presence of polluted soil underneath. |
