Rel. Giovanni Malnati. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Informatica (Computer Engineering), 2020
Abstract: |
The aim of the thesis has been to develop an internal monitoring platform providing accurate quality and performance indicator in order to monitor the internal company's products. In the first part, it will be shown the development of the tool in question, which technologies have been used, from the databases (SQL, NoSQL, distributed db, etc.) to the algorithms (flexible and cloud feasible). Since Amadeus, leading technology company dedicated exclusively to the global travel industry and operating in 195 countries, is now moving to the cloud, due to the exponential growth of consumer browsing and shopping for airline products across digital channels, the related application has been also migrated to the cloud. For this reason, will follow the study of its cloud migration. The thesis presents a description and analysis of cloud computing world. A comparative analysis of the best cloud service and deployment model has been performed. After analyzing the different cloud solutions and challenges, will follow the studies of the design, development and migration of the application mentioned above. The final part aims to show the achieved result, both for the tool development and the migration of the application, and the possible future evolution of it. |
