Abstract:

Implementation of a manoeuvres optimization prototype. The computation of orbital manoeuvres is usually performed in the industry creating ad-hoc software for each specific problem, which requires the development of a new program each time a new need appears. Therefore, it would be greatly useful to be have a functional generic tool for manoeuvre optimization which could be used without the need to be particularized with any a priori knowledge of the problem being faced. This internship will consist in: becoming familiar with the SW development environment at GMV (Linux, fortran, GMV Flight Dynamic tools); creation of the program SARROTO, in charge of manoeuvres optimization, this program shall be generic, in order to use different orbital propagators and optimization methods; definition and execution of tests to validate the SW functionalities.
